Author Biography

Jane Satterfield

Jane Satterfield is the recipient of awards in poetry from the National Endowment for the Arts, Bellingham Review, Ledbury Poetry Festival, Mslexia, and more. Apocalypse Mix was selected for the 2017 Autumn House Poetry Prize by David St. John; her previous books include Her Familiars, Assignation at Vanishing Point, and Shepherdess with an Automatic, as well as Daughters of Empire: a Memoir of a Year in England and Beyond. Satterfield is co-editor of the multi-genre anthology Borderlands and Crossroads: Writing the Motherland. Born in England, she lives in Baltimore and is married to poet Ned Balbo.
