Tatjana Takševa, St. Mary's University

Tatjana Takševa is associate professor of English and Women and Gender Studies at Saint Mary’s University in Halifax, Canada. She holds a PhD from the University of Toronto (2003). She has published extensively in the area of motherhood studies, most recently as the editor and contributor for Mothers Under Fire: Mothering in Conflict Zones (Demeter Press, 2015), with Arlene Sgoutas. She is currently working on a SSHRC funded project on mothering children born of rape in postconflict Bosnia. She can be reached at Tatjana.Takseva@SMU.ca.
